I came home after school. Tried to “take care of buissness” when I hear, “quick look run run!!!!!!.” Andrew runs in the room screaming, fishy fishy is on the floor, I knocked over her tank. Is she dead? (tears begin) Luke comes charging behind, dink mess, dink mess. So I quickly leave what I am doing to go rescue a flopping fish across my son’s carpet. That is after I was left a trail of milk across the kitchen and hall to where the fish lay. I scoop the fish into the tank with the teaspoon of water that is left, tell Andrew to go rescue more water for his fish. He returns with ice cold water from the fountain. (hope the fish doesn’t get frost bite) We proceed to clean up fish rocks, fish water, milk and then shampoo the carpet. That’s not what the plans were for after school. Fish seems to be doing fine!! The boys are now “surfing” across the kitchen floor with water they spilt and having just the great time. Never a dull moment in the land of blue!!! I will let you know of injuries of mishaps from the water surfing!
So, no injuries to speak of! However, the day kept going. I cleaned up the fish rocks with the vacuum. Not the best idea as I must have vacuumed up the water too. The vacuum is now leaking down the hallway. Luke decides earlier that he needs to use the potty because brother is. Okay, normally this would be a good thing, except that he took his shorts and diaper off and dropped his “potty” all over the floor. Lucky for me it was on the tile. More messes to clean up. My house was not this messy the whole two weeks we were on break from school. I am waiting for Robert to get home and then I am taking a long bubble bath with the cat and dog. ( It never fails they come to be my audience!
